The Steam Machine has been one of the most eagerly anticipated of Valve's Steam hardware triumvirate since it was unveiled back in November last year. Directive 8020 is an upcoming narrative survival horror from Until Dawn creators, Supermassive Games. Set aboard the interstellar spaceship Cassiopeia, 8020 pits a crew of scientists journeying a remote planet against a shapeshifting alien lifeform in a twisting 'choices matter' story. Taking influence from horror cinema like John Carpenter's The Thing (1982), and Alien (1979), we sent our bravest explorer Elie Gould for a hands-on preview of the game, which is out on May 12th.

We sat down with Mega Crit co-founder Casey Yano for the first Slay the Spire 2 post-launch interview.
