Grand Theft Auto 6
Grand Theft Auto 6 has now been delayed twice. Initially set to release in the fall of 2025, it was moved to May 2026, and then moved again to November 2026, which now puts it in the busy holiday release season. On console, at least: No PC release date has been announced yet, because console players are GTA's core audience. It tends to put off PC releases for a year or more.
We have a while to wait, then, and there are still a lot of unknowns: We saw a new GTA 6 trailer at the beginning of May, which gave us a glimpse at new side characters and finally confirmed Jason's name as legit, but nothing else since. For the latest, see all of our most recent GTA 6 coverage below.
- Release window: November 19, 2026 on consoles with an unknown PC release date.
- Setting: Vice City, Leonida, a modern day parody of Miami, Florida.
- Characters: Bonnie and Clyde-style duo Lucia and Jason lead the GTA 6 cast.
