With it, you're getting a 1440p 27-inch panel capable of a brightness of 1,000 nits, a response time of 1 ms and a refresh rate of 200 Hz. That's to say, even without that panel technology, it's no slouch in the specs department.

And, being mini-LED, you are getting absolutely sizzling HDR performance. As our Jeremy said in his 90% review, "where the KTC M27T6S really delivers is with HDR content."

KTC has done a wonder on its built-in algorithm to look great without zone popping, and it performs excellently in Cyberpunk 2077 in the areas where OLEDs tend to fail. Brightly lit desert scenes pop, and the in-game sun looks superb in action.

Now, just because it beats out an OLED in some ways doesn't make it the superior technology. Its lighting isn't as precise as an OLED, and OLEDs still take the win in their super wide viewing angles and true blacks. But then again, mini-LEDs don't have the risk of burn-in, which is certainly a concern for OLEDs in and around this price point.
