Razer's vertical gaming mouse is great if your wrists have fallen out of love with traditional squeakers, especially at its lowest ever price
The arm bone is connected to the wrist pain.
With a high DPI, RGB lighting, 2.4 GHz connectivity, and USB Type-C charging, you're not missing out on much by opting for this vertical mouse. It's just better on the joints, is all.

The human skeleton is very silly. In order for our forearms to enjoy a range of motion, the ulna and radius bones criss-cross when you're holding a typical gaming mouse. This arm posture, with the palm down, is called 'pronation'. Playing, say, extended periods of flicky shooters in a pronated position can be taxing on your wrists, so I've found a cracking deal on a more ergonomic gaming mouse.
Razer's Pro Click V2 wireless gaming mouse comes in two ergonomic flavours, and both are 10% off at Amazon. However, for the purposes of this post, I will be focusing on the more mountainous, Vertical version, which takes some of the pressure off of your twisted wrist for only $90.
Though it was Razer's first foray into a vertical mouse, the effort didn't go sideways; our ergo czar, Nick, had lots of nice things to say about it in his Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition review. Offering "blessed relief from aching wrists and sore tendons," this is very much an ergonomic mouse first, and a gaming mouse second.
For a start, Nick notes that this vertical mouse is pretty hefty, writing that it "tips the scales at 150 grams (5.29 ounces)." That's particularly heavy for a gaming mouse. For context, the best gaming mouse overall is the Razer Viper V4 Pro, and that only weighs 50 g at most.
Nick goes on to say, "Because you click buttons horizontally, rather than vertically, frantic button mashing will result in the mouse nudging slightly to one side," as well. This is definitely not impossible to get used to though, with Nick adding, "With prolonged experience, you do get used to it, and I'm sure there are plenty of PC gamers out there who would thrash me in a round of Counter-Strike 2 with a vertical mouse."

It's interesting to note that Nick says the Razer Pro Click V2 Vertical Edition is "surprisingly decent for gaming," though. With a Focus Pro optical sensor, 30,000 DPI, consistently low input latency, and apparently a six month battery life, this squeaker shouldn't let you down in-game.
That said, its mountainous heft threatens to make every gaming day an arm day.
