If you like super light gaming mice, I've found one of the best we've ever tested with $30 off in the pre-Prime Day sales
Despite being light, it's very sturdy too.
There's a handful of reasons to go for Corsair's Sabre V2 Pro (sensors, polling, look, shape etc), but arguably the best is how it balances feel with weight. Despite being a miniscule 36 g, it's sturdy and great for competitive play. And a great deal with a $30 discount.
Key specs: 33,000 DPI | 8,000 Hz polling | 70 hours of battery life | Wireless | 36 g
As time has gone on, one of the focuses of competitive gaming mice is their weight. The lighter they get, the quicker you can snap one across your desk for a quick headshot. And if you're looking to get a lighter gaming setup, I have the perfect mouse for you.
Over at Amazon, Corsair's 36 g Sabre V2 Pro is down to $70, which is a $30 saving.
Our Jacob reviewed the Sabre V2 Pro in the latter half of last year, giving it a whopping 92%. That makes it one of our best-reviewed bits of gear in the entirety of 2025. It is so good, in fact, that it sits as our pick for the best lightweight gaming mouse to this day.
It's not just light, though. You're also getting Corsair's Marksman S sensor and its 33,000 DPI, as well as up to 8,000 Hz polling. It has a decent enough battery life, offering 70 hours at 1,000 Hz. That goes down to 16 at 8,000 Hz, but I'd wager most people won't see the benefit of cranking the polling too high anyway.

36 g is incredibly light, and despite that weight, it's sturdily built too. The one caveat I'd put forward is that this Corsair mouse is truly a no-nonsense competitive device. It doesn't come with extra buttons, special gimmicks or a screen. It's simply light, well-built, with a rock-solid sensor and a clean aesthetic. You have two buttons on the left-hand side, making it a mouse for lefties rather than righties, but the shape is ergonomic and accommodating of either hand.
To add to that no-nonsense feel, you won't have to install any apps to get it working, though there's only one onboard profile if you do. It also opts for UPE skates, rather than the common PTFE skates, which are more durable but offer a less easy slide.
As of the time of writing, both the white and black models are on sale. And to my eyes, both look great and fairly understated. If you think your current mouse is holding you back in the specs department, and feel you'd benefit from something truly ultra light, this Corsair is well worth the cash.
