'I went to have lunch and forgot it was on': This super comfortable gaming headset is now just $43 in the Prime Day sale
A gaming headset that can merrily hop between devices and sit pretty all day long.
This very lightweight, very comfortable headset has a balanced sound profile to match, as our James found in his review. It won't blow you away with bass or features, but at this price, it's certainly worth considering. This deal is for Prime members only.
Key specs: 40 mm drivers | 20-20,000 Hz | Closed-back | Wireless
Price check: Logitech $44.98
Nobody likes having their ears pinned back by a too-snug gaming headset. Another thing nobody particularly enjoys is just how expensive so much PC gaming hardware has become. Audio is an essential part of any game, but with PC components threatening to break the bank, who could blame you for going the more budget route on peripherals?
Now, to be clear, the best budget gaming headset is still the Corsair HS55 Stereo, but that wired headset is still at its normal $60 in the Prime Day sales. If you're looking for a wireless headset for less than this, you're not out of luck, though. The Logitech G321 Lightspeed is an exceedingly comfortable set of wireless cans, currently going for the cozy price of a little less than $43 at Amazon.
James really rated this gaming headset for its comfort, writing in his Logitech G321 Lightspeed review, "At one moment, I went to have lunch and forgot it was on. This is perhaps as much an indictment of my hunger-led tunnel vision, but it's still a rarity for me, and not something I've had happen with similarly priced headsets. No, before you ask, I did not get soup on the headset. Stop asking that."
As an additional plus, you can ditch the wires in favour of either a 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth connection. The clamping force of the Logitech is also less than the Corsair, making the G321 Lightspeed an exceedingly comfortable headset to wear all day as you move between devices. If you're looking for a budget device, a versatile device that wouldn't look out of place at either a desk or out and about, it definitely helps.

The main drawback is that you can't listen in via both the 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth connections simultaneously. As James writes, "Dual connectivity would have been better here, to take a quick call or cross off Duolingo for the day, but swapping to Bluetooth isn't a huge hassle, and only really costs a few seconds each time."
If we're still drawing comparisons to the Corsair HS55 Stereo, then the Logitech G321 Lightspeed's microphone can't really compete on audio quality. The more affordable headset also has slightly smaller 40 mm drivers with middling sound quality.
James writes, "I wouldn't say the audio quality is particularly strong for its price point, especially when you can pick the HyperX Cloud Alpha at $60 on sale, but it is clear and easy to make out. I don't feel quite enveloped by sound, but I also never feel like I am missing something."
As you might already suspect, the bass on offer here isn't much to rumble home about either. But even with such middle-of-the-pack audio, the comfort of these cans is not something to be overlooked. Trust me, your ears will thank you.
