I thought this budget headset was a bit 'meh' for full price when I reviewed it, but it's actually a steal now it's comfortably under $30
A breath of fresh air when prices elsewhere in hardware are on the rise.
With a solid build quality, good compatibility and sweet design, the Glorious GHS is a thoroughly middle-of-the-pack budget gaming headset, but is a bit of a steal with a third off.
Key specs: 40 mm drivers | 20 hz - 20 kHz | 255 g
Price check: Amazon $39.99 (White version)
Yes, I'm picky when it comes to hardware—but I also love a great deal. So, as sad as I am to pick up yet more sad black hardware that offers nary a fun colourway, I can justify it if the price is right. With Amazon's Big Prime Deal Days just around the corner, I've found one such bit of kit that is an absolute steal.
The Glorious GHS Eternal is a wired gaming headset that is already very reasonably priced, but my beady little eyes have just spotted that the black colourway is going for very comfortably under 30 bucks at Amazon. If you're on a budget and just need a basic headset that will get your head in the game, you could do much worse than this set of cans.
I reviewed the Glorious GHS Eternal not too long ago, and at the time I thought it ticked most of the right boxes for a budget headset though the MSRP left it eating the dust of other options. This pre-Prime Day deal handily swerves around my chief criticism, leaving behind a simply solid set of cans.
In the office, I tend to reach for this headset's wireless counterpart, the GHS InfinitePlay. However, both headsets share the same frame, build quality, and unnervingly flexible headband. That means the wired GHS Eternal will sit pretty on your head, on your desk, and can definitely take more than its fair share of tumbles across your office floor.
Better yet, as a wired gaming headset, you won't have to worry about either latency issues or a battery betraying you during a pivotal play. Add to that a lovely tactile volume knob on the left earcup (not to mention the fact this headset can get decently loud), and this is a solid set of cans for both music listening and gaming.

As a budget headset though, you won't find anything in the way of active noise cancelling, for instance—I only feel a little bit guilty about listening to the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack on repeat while testing these bad boys in the office.
Mind you, if you're only going to be donning this wired headset in your solitary gamer den, then play on, I say!
