Microsoft announced some reductions to PC and Xbox Game Pass subscription fees overnight, following hints last week that changes were afoot. The prices—which have already taken effect in Australia—are still higher than they were before the last increases in October, but those increases were massive.

Is PC Game Pass worth it? It could be if you're the kind of burn through games really quickly, or just like to sample a range of different titles. Some recent additions include Albion Online, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, Replaced, Tiny Bookshop, Planet of Lana 2 and Super Meat Boy 3D. Of course, there's no lock-in contract: You can sign up for a month and then cancel.
