Grand Theft Auto 6
Grand Theft Auto 6 finally launches this year (on consoles, anyway) after being delayed twice. Initially set to release in the fall of 2025, it was moved to May 2026, and then moved again to November 2026, which now puts it in the busy holiday release season. No PC release date has been announced yet, because Rockstar claims that console players are GTA's core audience. Despite that being demonstrably untrue, it is standard Rockstar practice to hold its PC versions for about a year after console release.
With preorders now open, the second half of 2026 is likely going to be jam packed with routine Vice City marketing in the leadup to what will likely be one of the biggest game launches of the decade.
- Release window: November 19, 2026 on consoles with an unknown PC release date.
- Setting: Vice City, Leonida, a modern day parody of Miami, Florida.
- Characters: Bonnie and Clyde-style duo Lucia and Jason lead the GTA 6 cast.
- Price: $80 standard edition and $100 Ultimate Edition
