Amazon Prime Day in Australia — This year's major Prime event will kick off July 7

Amazon tends to hold a handful of major sales events every year. The first of 2026 was the Amazon Big Smile sale, which ran in March, and in early June Amazon's Mid-Year sale had its time in the sun.

Scratch those, though: Amazon Prime Day is undoubtably Amazon's biggest sales event of the year, and the behemoth online retailer has now confirmed it will run July 7 through to July 13 in 2026. When it kicks off, we'll be here collecting all the best PC gaming deals.

And why listen to our recommendations? We test products year-round—with the exception of a few public holidays, our team of hardware experts has to chill at some point—and these sales events are an opportunity for us to help you save some cash on the products we already recommend. We actually do the testing, and you can find page after page of reviews right here.

For Amazon Prime Day, the vast majority of discounts will require an Amazon Prime subscription. Luckily, you can sign up for a free trial.

8Bitdo Ultimate C wired controller
Save 25% (AU$20)
8Bitdo Ultimate C wired controller: was AU$79.95 now AU$59.95 at Amazon

If you're after a simple but durable gamepad to use at your desk, this 8Bitdo is definitely worth a look. Not only does it have drift-free hall effect analog sticks, but base of the sticks also have RGB. It's a wired only affair, so unless you've got a big cord, it's probably not designed for couch play. This isn't the best price we've seen, because it was down to AU$47.96 last year.

Corsair K70 RGB Pro
Save AU$90
Corsair K70 RGB Pro: was AU$249 now AU$159 at Amazon

A welcome discount on this premium slab, which happens to be my day-to-day workhorse. The RGB is typically stunning, and the build is very robust: you could use it to knock out an intruder. It features 8,000Hz hyper-polling, 4,000Hz key scanning, PBT Double-shot Pro keycaps and yeah: it looks great.

There's not much more you could want with this chonker. 44-inches of 170Hz curved screen to lose yourself into, and at AU$899 it's a bit of a bargain right now. The 5120 x 1440 resolution is also damn handy when you use this as a work monitor.

Corsair Sabre v2 Pro
Save 36% (AU$60)
Corsair Sabre v2 Pro: was AU$169 now AU$109 at Amazon

The Corsair Sabre V2 Pro is one of PC Gamer's best reviewed gaming mice of 2025. Jacob Fox loved its near-impossible lightness (36g!), app-free ease of use, brilliant sensor and robust build, though didn't like that it can only store one onboard profile. Look at the specs: 8,000Hz Hyper-Polling, 33,000 DPI, and up to 70 hours of battery life.

Corsair RS120 120mm PWM Fans
Save 25% (AU$13)
Corsair RS120 120mm PWM Fans: was AU$52 now AU$39 at Amazon

In these days of austerity, RGB bling is now seen as pompous postering. So get with the proletariat program and invest in these unadorned but hard working Corsair fans. This works out at just AU$12.15 per fan, not that we think in terms of individuality anymore.

Amazon Prime Day FAQ

How do I become an Amazon Prime member in Australia?

Some of the best Amazon deals might be exclusive to Prime members, but you can sign up to become a Prime member via Amazon's Prime membership page. And the first 30 days are free! You'll have to create an Amazon account and provide payment card details, however. If you only want the Prime benefits for Prime Day itself or any other Amazon sale, and not as a recurring subscription, you can cancel your membership before the 30-day period ends.

When will the next Amazon sale start and end?

Amazon's next big sale is Amazon Prime Day. That will kick off on July 7, 2026, and run until July 13.
