There are simply too many great controller deals this Prime Day so here are the three I'd be looking at
From $24 up to $95, there's a pick for every budget.
Gone are the days when third-party controllers meant 'the bad one you'd give your sibling'. In fact, third-party controllers have gotten so good that I wouldn't recommend anything from the likes of Sony or Microsoft when the deals are this good.
But that leads me to a different problem: how do you choose just one? Well, luckily, I have picked four great deals, all on controllers offering very different things.
For instance, the GameSir Nova Lite 2 is cheap and cheerful personified. For less than 25$, you're getting a solid enough polling rate, Hall effect sticks, and wireless play.
Then, for about double that price, you can pick up the GameSir G7 Pro, with its excellent feel, great looks, and sturdy build.
Finally, if you want something you can whip out at a competitive tournament, the Razer Wolverine V3 Pro 8K and its high polling rate have you covered.

The information
A new and improved version of the Nova Lite, the Nova Lite 2 has Hall effect everything, 1000 Hz polling, and trigger locks. It even has a mechanical d-pad, which is absurd for the money, really.
Key specs: Wireless (Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz) | Asymmetric | Hall effect
Our current pick for the best PC controller right now, the GameSir G7 Pro is only slightly pricier than a standard Xbox controller but feels and looks nearly identical, and comes with TMR sticks, tactile switches, and a charging dock to keep it topped up and looking pretty on a shelf. This is the lowest we've seen this controller at, and it was already reasonably priced at MSRP.
Key specs: TMR joysticks | 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, Wired | Asymmetric | 272 g
Price check: Amazon $63.99
With a great feel, superb specs, and a bunch of remappable buttons, the Wolverine V3 Pro 8K is not only viable as a competitive choice, but comfy enough for everyday use.
Key specs: Up to 8,000 Hz | TMR thumbsticks | Hall effect triggers | included carry case | Wireless and wired | 20 hour battery life (with 1,000 Hz polling)

James is a more recent PC gaming convert, often admiring graphics cards, cases, and motherboards from afar. It was not until 2019, after just finishing a degree in law and media, that they decided to throw out the last few years of education, build their PC, and start writing about gaming instead. In that time, he has covered the latest doodads, contraptions, and gismos, and loved every second of it. Hey, it’s better than writing case briefs.
