Best Prime Day monitor deal round up

If really good GPU deals are slim pickings this Prime Day and decent RAM deals checked out about a year ago, do not despair. There is one class of PC component that's bucking the trend. Gaming monitors.

Our Jacob R commented earlier today just how "wild" the best of our affordable gaming monitor deals look this Prime Day. And he has a point. The spread goes from $99 through to $314 and includes everything from 1080p to OLED.

27-inch 1440p proved the most popular form factor in our recent poll, while 4K and 34-inch ultrawide ranked highly, too. Well if you have a budget of around $250 to $300, you can cover all those bases and even tick the OLED box, too.

Doing 4K duty is the MSI MAG 275UPD. For a whisker under $250 you get an IPS panel and dual-mode capability. Remarkable. Representing 34-inch ultrawide is the LG UltraGear 34GP63A-B for not even $230. It's so much monitor for the money.

Then there's the Acer Predator X27U W1bmiiprx I covered earlier today. It slightly breaches the $300 barrier at $314. But it's a QD-OLED panel, for goodness sake.

Anyway, never have you had so many fantastic gaming monitor options for so little money. 2026 Prime Day really is all about bargain gaming panels.

It doesn't get much better than this, folks. A 4K, 27-inch gaming monitor for under $250. It's an IPS panel with a 1 ms response time and is what's known as a dual mode monitor. That means it runs at both 4K/144 Hz and 1080p/288 Hz. Perfect for blending both competitive gaming and immersive single-player gaming.

LG UltraGear 34GP63A-B: was $399.99 now $229.99 at LG

At its current price, this LG ultrawide is a genuine bargain (though not as good as it has been before). By comparison, Alienware's fancy QD-OLED 34-inch panel is around $800 even on sale. This LG matches its size, resolution, aspect ratio, and refresh rate for less than one-third of the price, although, of course, it is a VA panel, not an OLED. It's also not the brightest gaming monitor ever, but it is a very good deal.

Key specs: 34-inch | 3440 x 1440 | 160 Hz | 1 ms | VA | 1800R curve

Acer Predator X27U W1bmiiprx

Entry-level OLED gaming is now, officially, affordable. This Acer 27-inch 1440p QD-OLED does come with some compromises in terms of brightness. But OLED gaming, even slightly attenuated, is still something very special indeed.

Key specs: 27-inch | 2560 X 1440 | 240 Hz | 0.03 ms | 200 nits SDR / 400 nits HDR | QD-OLED
