You can properly test talents in the WoW: Forever beta, now

The World of Warcraft: Forever beta has gotten less stingy about talent costs. It was a little strange that it was stingy in the first place, given the fact you probably do want to let your players test out your refreshed talent system, but hey, here we are.

Resetting your talent now costs one silver, per the WoW Forever beta development notes on the official forums: "If you have not recently changed your talents, the cost is now 1 silver to re-spec. This is temporary for the Beta only. After your first talent reset, the subsequent cost will be much higher, but it will drop to 1 silver after 1 hour has passed."
