Fortnite is officially getting some sort of Street Fighter crossover. Season 5 has been rife with new crossovers from cinema and gaming history, including Tron, the Predator, Master Chief, and more.
After a number of leaks from data miners, Epic finally confirmed the news.
Players first noticed one of the dimensional rifts (or hunter portals, as they're sometimes referred to) featured a well-known Street Fighter level, indicating another franchise crossover.
The official trailer is an awesome blend of original Street Fighter II 2D graphics, until Jonesy shows up and bamfs Ryu and Chun-Li out of their dimension and into Fortnite's.
Two new emotes will also be included in the Fortnite and Street Fighter crossover. Chun-Li's Hyakuretsukyaku (or Lightning Kick) will make your character launch a hundred punishing kicks into an enemy's face, or thin air I guess. Ryu's emote has him pull off the classic Shoryuken uppercut.

Epic also tweeted out another audio teaser similar to previous crossover reveals, with Jonesy recording an audio log of himself supposedly chatting with Ryu.

How to get the Fortnite Street Fighter skins
Judging from the trailer, it looks like there won't be any competition associated with getting Ryu or Chun Li, thank god. Instead, it looks like they'll just be dropping into the item shop for a set amount of time.
Previous crossover skins like these have ranged from 1,200 - 1,800 V-bucks, depending on if there's a bundle or not, so make sure you have some money saved up if you want both.
