If one of them is yer actual Hulk Hogan fighting bad guys on Mir, all the better, but for now we'll have to stick to titles based on Games Workshop's meaty sci-fi boardgame instead. Joining last year's Space Hulk, and some mystery future year's Space Hulk: Deathwing, is Full Control's standaloneapology for their poorly received strategy game of last year. Space Hulk Ascension Edition is an expansiony sequely do-over type thing that adds RPG elements and Ultramarines, beefy warriors who like long walks by the sea, killing, and the colour blue.
In a nod to its fans, indie strategy game Space Hulk has released a new—and free—three-mission campaign as part of its latest patch which went live today. The appropriately titled Messenger of Purgatory campaign surfaces as part of update 1.2, which also addresses the game's optimization, visuals, and a variety of other improvements, according to its official changelog.

There's something about the word "space" that makes anything that's prefixed with it seem more exciting. Sending Space Marines into a Space Hulk? That sounds tense and dramatic. Sending plain old marines into a regular Hulk? That sounds like a military-ordered endoscopy into Bruce Banner. Also dramatic, but not quite the same as a turn-based tactical adaptation of the Warhammer 40K board game. Probably a good job that it's the latter that's now available.

Per the cool cats at Eurogamer, Danish studio Full Control has announced that the company has signed a licensing agreement with bitComposer Games to develop and publish a new (hooray), turn-based (hooray), multiplatform (hmm) game in the Jagged Alliance franchise.

Games Workshop have announced a new Space Hulk game. Built by developer Full Control, it'll be a turnbased strategy game designed to closely mimic the action of the boardgame itself, in which a team of heavily armoured Space Marines stomp through the infested carcass of an immense spaceship, ripping its chitinous inhabitants to shreds with mighty bolters or otherwise meeting a grisly fate themselves.
There's a teaser trailer within, but it's about as disappointingly scant on detail as any teaser trailer has ever been. However, a bullet-point list on the game's site reveals a few more exciting tidbits: there's cross-platform multiplayer with the Mac and iOS versions, a new co-op campaign against the Genestealer AI and a level editor.
