Gaming mice are truly getting ridiculous with their stats. Up to 8,000 Hz polling and into the tens of thousands of DPI sure make them impressive, but for the average gamer, that doesn't mean much.
If you want a tidy gaming mouse on a budget, my money would be on the Glorious Model O Eternal now that it's $30 at Amazon.

Our Reece gave this mouse a 92% in his review last year, and it has been our pick for the best budget wired gaming mouse ever since. It's just that good. The 12,000 DPI is on the low end for a gaming mouse, but perfectly serviceable, and the 1,000 Hz polling is just fine too.
Just last week, I put myself through a polling rate boot camp to see how much it affects my aim, and my DPI affected it far more than the polling rate.
You get a tasteful amount of RGB here, and Glorious' software is pretty decent too. Being wired, you are tethered to your desk, but you never have to worry about battery life, and it's a pretty lightweight mouse at 55 grams.
If you simply want a mouse for gaming and want to spend as little as possible, Glorious has the best budget wired gaming mouse on the market. If, however, you really want something wireless, I'd recommend the Mchose G3V2 at $40.
It's less flashy, but it's untethered and offers a higher DPI. Either way, both are great choices, and they prove you don't need to spend tons of money to get a solid gaming experience any more.
