PC Gamer's Hyperfeed beta is live
We're testing a beta version of our homepage. Let us know what you think!
Mind our dust! And don't let any of it get into your PC's fans.
We're temporarily testing a new version of the PC Gamer homepage called the Hyperfeed that you'll see getting lots of updates over at pcgamer.com/hyperfeed. This is a very early, pre-pre-proto-alpha test, a minimum-viable version for early data gathering and experimentation. You'll notice a bug or three as we continue to iterate.
Why are we trying something new? The impact of Google's coercive integration of AI has affected the online publishing ecosystem a lot, and we're trying to make our homepage (already the most-visited page on PC Gamer) a much richer experience. We're excited to modernize pcgamer.com in a way that better reflects how you and we play.
Apart from a different look, the main thing you'll notice are short, ephemeral posts currently only found on the Hyperfeed. Gaming in 2026 is so often about the microscopic stuff: character abilities, individual voice lines, a fun character you cooked up in an RPG, two minutes of one session you had in ARC Raiders, a weird ice-poison wand you looted in Diablo 4. We want to talk about our observations and feelings on these small-but-significant things by giving ourselves more flexibility to publish timely, authentic coverage directly from our editors and writers that isn't strictly article-shaped.
Right now in the Hyperfeed, you'll find stuff like this—experiences, gripes, daydreams, and scorpion-related experiences about PC games and hardware such as:
- Fraser spending too much money on a spaceship
- Jess cramming anime figures into her PC (for science)
- Andrea spots a forming supercell of recent tornado games
- The upsetting-but-funny things that happened to my simulated alien babies
- Ted asks a hard question: "Have you ever actually tried crouch walking?"
- Lincoln wishing for a Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters management sim
We also want to use these short posts to help us quickly react in a timely fashion to serious moments, emerging trends, things devs say, patch notes, and more. Obviously we'll continue to publish loads of daily, in-depth article coverage—this is just another tool that expands our constellation of work.
What's live right now is v0.01, far from the final form of the Hyperfeed, and we have about three-thousand more ideas that haven't been implemented yet, but we'd still like to hear your initial reaction to what you see there, if you have 30 seconds for a short survey.
