Most MMOs have so many expansions, it's hard to keep track of them all—can you tell our clever fakes from the real ones?

I don't envy the people who have to come up with MMO expansion names—firstly, you need to make sure its acronym isn't some kind of rude word (shoutout to FF14's Endwalker making me call my favourite MMO "ew" for two years). But you also need to encapsulate that expansion's shtick.

They've gotta be snappy, foreboding—something that looks good on a box. In the process of putting together this quiz, I've actually been decently impressed by the spread of techniques on offer. They all share a lot in common, though: They're always very grandiose, which makes them very easy to parody.

Enter this quiz: Inside each of these 10 MMOs, I've tucked in a deceitful expansion that doesn't exist. Some of them are obvious, while others will have you pulling your hair out so you can be nice and bald like me.
