At Fate's End, a narrative action-adventure game that got PC Gamer's Wes Fenlon so excited at GDC earlier this year, will not be out in 2026 as expected, but will instead land in 2027. "We've made so much progress on the game since its 2025 reveal but it needs a little more love and care to ensure its release is as smooth as possible," developer Thunder Lotus wrote. "We'll let y'all know a more precise date once we have all our ducks in a row."

Ah, but there is some good news with the bad. A demo is now available on Steam, promising "a great first taste of everything the game has to offer: a deep immersive world, cool characters, a compelling mystery for you to solve, and lots of exciting combat." And we've got a new trailer, too.
