Rockstar drops a pile of new GTA 6 launch screenshots featuring dancers, combat dogs, and so many pores
In 39 new screenshots, Rockstar flaunts exciting new genres of Florida Man.
As many readers are no doubt keenly aware, we are—as of today—two weeks out from the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. To celebrate its impending conquest of the collective attention economy, Rockstar has released a launch gallery of new GTA 6 screenshots showcasing the breadth and color of simulated life in Vice City.
Totaling 39 new screenshots, the launch gallery has a bit of everything: It's got night life, it's got wildlife, and—most importantly—it's got plenty of protagonists Jason and Lucia holding guns and making their serious 'I am involved in violent crime' faces. You gotta have those.

Of that bunch, I'm particularly interested in the screenshot of a gun-toting, tactical-geared Jason seemingly having stepped off a military aircraft and into a firefight, because there appears to be a dog in the background equipped with its own combat gear. Could Jason and Lucia get access to their very own D-Dog? At this point, we can only guess.
Vice City being Vice City, the launch gallery features plenty of partying, showing off dance clubs, dockside dive bars, heavy drinkers, and general debaucherists of all ages. Including your Margaritaville types.

Rockstar took the opportunity to flaunt the variety of its Florida Man representation, revealing all sorts of colorful individuals worthy of the mythology. In one screenshot, a scarred man with heterochromia has two varieties of dead reptile within arm's length. In another, Jason is menaced by a sort of knife-wielding human mullet. Even the cops are a form of Florida Man: There aren't many places nowadays where you can flaunt that sort of moustache/aviator combo without a hint of irony.
And, I'll note, the new screens show a terrifying degree of pore fidelity—and how there's a wide range of skin care philosophies in Vice City. I'm not naming any names, but some of these guys could stand to try out a facial moisturizer. You'll thank me for it. It's nice.
Also, there's an alligator.

There's plenty more to pick through, from wide-angle shots of police raids and hazy meadow sunsets to high-speed chase stills and scuba diving scenes. All those remaining screenshots are in the gallery below.
Grand Theft Auto 6 launches on console on November 19—but we're still waiting to hear about PC. And we're being very patient and brave about it, too.
