Reigns, Card Shark studio Nerial is closing
Nerial, which made a splash with Reigns in 2016 and landed another hit with Card Shark in 2022, has decided to close up shop after 13 years of operation.
"While this marks the end of Nerial as we know it, it's not the end of the game dev for us," Tamara and François Alliot, respectively the studio CEO and creative director, wrote in a farewell message. "We're going back to our roots. François' unrelenting drive to make games is as strong as ever, but first we need to take a break and reflect on everything that's happened, before coming back with a new perspective."
