British voter Wordle

I could never get into any of those come-back-once-a-day-for-a-new-challenge games. You know, your Wordles and Wordle-likes. I figured it was because I'm too changeable; I can never stick to a routine for any length of time before it all gets upended.

I was wrong. It was actually because I hadn't discovered British Voter Quiz, which gives you a brief outline of the demographics and beliefs of a random (real but anonymous) member of the British public and then asks you to guess how they voted in the 2024 election.

It never makes sense and is usually alarming, which is probably on the national crest. I got 2/5 in today's challenge. Tomorrow I will likely do worse.

One of Josh's first memories is of playing Quake 2 on the family computer when he was much too young to be doing that, and he's been irreparably game-brained ever since. His writing has been featured in Vice, Fanbyte, and the Financial Times. He'll play pretty much anything, and has written far too much on everything from visual novels to Assassin's Creed. His most profound loves are for CRPGs, immersive sims, and any game whose ambition outstrips its budget. He thinks you're all far too mean about Deus Ex: Invisible War.
