Did you know that the Amazonian giant centipede has been known to prey on bats while hanging from the ceiling? Did you know that they can grow to be 10 inches in length? Did also you know that they’re a literal hellbeast roaming the earth? Dark Souls is non-fiction.

Case modder David Cathey figured he’d face the horrible truths of living head on, so he built this case mod as an ode to the centipede, perhaps to quell its taste for human flesh. Will it work? Who knows.

However, I do know that he did a good job, because the Gigantea is straight up freaky. It’s a poseable red and yellow monstrosity that can run The Witcher 3 on Ultra settings. Speaking of, someone give Geralt a ring, yeah? We have a job for him.

The components aren’t absolute top of the line, but they’re more than enough for most games at 1080p. Besides, the style and craftsmanship are definitely a leg (or 100) up from the competition. For more pics and information, check out the official build log.

Gigantea components:

  • Mobo: Gigabyte Z97N-WIFI
  • CPU: Intel i5 4680K
  • RAM: 8GB Corsair Vengance Pro
  • GPU: Asus Strix GTX 980
  • SSDs: Samsung 850 EVO 250GB and 500GB
  • PSU: CoolerMaster V850
