Republic of Gamers sends cosplay heroes and fan artists to BlizzCon 2018 free of charge

Contest winners Casey N. and Kevin A. are heading to Blizzard’s huge annual celebration of games and gaming culture free of charge after submitting winning entries to Republic of Gamer’s ROG2BLIZZCON promotion.

The winning entries, some killer bee-keeper Mei cosplay and stylized art of Suramar from World of Warcraft, earned the artists a free trip and hotel accommodations to Anaheim in November to luxuriate in a weekend of Blizzard’s games, esports competitions, and the usual parade of incredible cosplay that’s synonymous with BlizzCon. The contest’s sponsor, Republic of Gamers and ASUS, will have their own booth at the con tucked away in the Heroes of the Storm Hall (Booth B-1), where they’ll be showing off their hottest new tech and games accessories.

The ROG line is probably best known for their blistering-fast gaming laptops (and their silky 144hz, narrow bezel displays) which they’ll be showcasing at the booth, and it’s not just the two contest winners who’ll have a chance to walk away with some amazing free loot. There’s a daily raffle for some quality ROG swag, and hosted demos will be available for a bunch of great gear, from the sleek, slim laptops to desktop and mobile tech and accessories.

If you’re in the market for a high performance gaming laptop, take a look at the SCAR II or HERO II, and be sure to swing by their booth B-1 at BlizzCon 2018 for sweet freebies or to congratulate the winners!
