It's been six years since the release of Minecraft Dungeons, and now the wait is almost over for fans to enjoy the highly anticipated Minecraft Dungeons 2. The game launches September 29 and brings with it a new and exciting dimension, the Sift, as well as deeper character customization, new gameplay systems, and enhanced multiplayer experiences.
If you're already excited, you can pre-order through the Minecraft website by September 28, 2026. If you do, you'll receive exclusive pre-order rewards, including a hero cape, hero pet chicken, or hero emote pack.
Minecraft Dungeons 2 ore-order offer
There are two versions of Minecraft Dungeons 2, with both available for pre-order. If you want all the bells and whistles, including additional deluxe content, then the Deluxe Edition was made just for you. This version includes content that you won't find in the cheaper Standard Edition.
If you're satisfied forgoing the additional content, then the standard version of the game is more affordable. Both editions launch on September 29 and offer solo play alongside up to four-player co-op. You'll also find online, couch, and mixed co-op support and expanded gear, character customization, matchmaking, and progression systems.
In the meantime, the original Minecraft Dungeons is available now for $9.99.
