EA seeks Star Wars: Battlefront playtesters for next week

Star Wars: Battlefront detail

What we want from the new Star Wars: Battlefront

Star Wars: Battlefront will be unveiled to the world in all its glory at the Star Wars Celebration, which runs from April 16-19. But if you want to check it out before that—and I mean, actually play the thing— then I have good news: Electronic Arts is offering playtest sessions next week of three to four hours in length at its Redwood Shores location in California, and at the Burnaby campus in British Columbia.

From there he graduated to the glory days of Sierra Online adventures and Microprose sims, ran a local BBS, learned how to build PCs, and developed a longstanding love of RPGs, immersive sims, and shooters. He began writing videogame news in 2007 for The Escapist and somehow managed to avoid getting fired until 2014, when he joined the storied ranks of PC Gamer. He covers all aspects of the industry, from new game announcements and patch notes to legal disputes, Twitch beefs, esports, and Henry Cavill. Lots of Henry Cavill.
