William B. J. Blazkowicz returns in the 2013 reboot of Wolfenstein, a shooter series famous for is off-the-wall interpretations of World War 2. Remember the one where they cast Adolf Hitler as a mech-piloting, chaingun-wielding final boss? Perhaps not, the initial MS DOS release took place in 1992. How can a 2013 interpretation refresh the formula? With more robots and a fancy engine, apparently. The New Order takes place in an alternative reality vision of the '60s in a world where the Nazis won World War 2. It's being built by ex-Starbreeze veterans MachineGames in idTech 5, will be single-player only, and is due out late 2013.

You can blow a Nazi to pieces among some lovingly-designed sixties furnishings and probably should.
