PAX Australia will return to the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this October, with early bird tickets available from this morning. No special guests have been confirmed just yet, but last year saw talent from the likes of Obsidian, Magic: The Gathering, Baldur's Gate 3 and more.
Early bird tickets start from AU$77 for a single day pass, while a three day pass costs AU$185. There's also pre-order merch if you go in for that. I'm not sure when the early bird ticket offer elapses, but PAX itself warns that they normally don't last long.
PAX takes place as part of Melbourne International Games Week, which takes in a constellation of events including Games Connect Asia Pacific. PAX first hit Melbourne in 2013 and, aside from some COVID-induced cancellations, has taken place nearly every year since.

“Every year we aim to create an unforgettable experience for every kind of gamer, whether you love discovering the latest games, indie gems, family tabletop game nights, mobile gaming, or live panels. Even with all of that, we know it’s really the passion and energy of our community that truly powers the event."
PAX Australia takes place October 9-11. Hope Corrigan went in 2024 and all she got was a glimpse of a $17,000 gaming PC in the shape of Medusa that's a commentary on AI's inability to grasp the importance of mythology stories in human culture. Which seems like enough, really.
