Investigator is a little known atmospheric horror game with a walking-sim feel but excellent visuals.
This game shines in its atmosphere and above average texture work. Overall, textures are finely detailed, and the more urban rust and grime is very realistic.
If there is something that sticks out badly, it's the tree branches, especially at the ends. They're poorly made and stand out against the otherwise great textures.
Investigator is sufficiently creepy despite the lack of any real danger. It's more of an exploration game with thick atmosphere and a definite sense of foreboding and trespass. It's absolutely worth the small asking price of $4.
For this gallery I used my own personal ReShade to add some bleakness to its already heavy atmosphere.
