Command a legion of robots in factory builder Brave New Wonders, launching tomorrow
Just write what you want them to do, easy as pie.
The best thing about machines is that they do exactly what you program them to do. The worst thing about machines is that they do exactly what you program them to do. In Brave New Wonders, releasing tomorrow, you'll build and automate a set of production lines with robots that you can write commands for.
In the launch trailer revealed at the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct, we hear a narrator say, "Give the command, and the machines will answer." The commands you give can be written in plain English—or any language the game supports—and the game will ensure the machines obey your whims.

Release date: September 21, 2026
Brave New Wonders is a factory builder where you can give direct commands to your robots in plain text. The game launches tomorrow, September 21, and you can wishlist it on Steam.
Rather than setting up a supply chain manually, simply tell your robots to pick up ammo from the warehouse and deliver it to the turret. The game seems to detect which words in your command are the keywords, such as locations and conditions. So, if a little lost robot wanders off and simply circles an area instead of going into it and grabbing what you need, you'll have no one but yourself to blame.
Brave New Wonders touts itself as "part factory builder, part city builder rising from the ruins." It's set in a post-apocalyptic far future, so it'll be up to you to mine and refine all the resources you'll need to rebuild society.
That's no small feat, so you won't just be building one factory or base. You'll be able to link factories and logistics routes, and even copy and paste huge layouts. Even the robots keep their instructions when you paste more, so you won't have to micromanage too much—unless you want to change their commands, of course.
This isn't a peaceful factory sim, however. Old machines roam the decimated world, so you'll need to place turrets to defend your bases and use dynamite to clear the way forward if you hope to expand into new territories.
Brave New Wonders launches tomorrow, September 21, and you can pick it up on Steam.
