There are few things in life that you can count on or control. But one thing I am sure about is the fact that I could change the minds of these Resident Evil villains, through the power of charismatic chat.
You may have qualms about my top picks for changeable Resident Evil villains, but I will die on this hill. Let me tell you why.
Donna Beneviento would be the easiest to change, for sure. I could already tell in Resident Evil Village that her heart wasn't in it, and I think all I'd have to do is say some nice things about her dolls and then bingo, she's on a better, healthier path.
Surprisingly, I think the same goes for Alex Wesker. Yes, she's got a god-complex, but I think I could use that to my advantage, because at the end of the day all a god-complex is is a need to be liked mixed in with some good old fashioned narcissism, and I've managed a fair few people with that. Plus I have low blood iron so she probably wouldn't want to snatch my body.
Then we get into trickier territory. Albert Wesker and T-00 (Mr. X).
My first step with T-00 would be to ditch the rocket launcher. I know this is risky, but fear is not a healthy emotion to build fruitful discussions around, and trust is a two way street. The next course of action I'd take would be giving him a real name. Mr. X is cool if you're a villain in a '90s Saturday morning cartoon, but it's a bit too formal. I think he looks like a Jeff and suspect he'd appreciate being humanised.
When it comes to Albert Wesker I have nothing else to back up my claim that I could change him other than a feeling in my bones that I could do it and the fact I have a winning smile and a can-do attitude.
