Deadlock’s massive update for 2026 has packed the list of Deadlock characters with six new magicpunk weirdos, each voted in one at a time by the playerbase. Even over a year on from Valve’s new mashup-MOBA opening up its invites it's under major renovations, with the recent Old Gods, New Blood update reworking both bases and patrons among other things. Despite the work-in-progress feel and lack of things like marketing, Deadlock continues to float near the top of Steam’s most popular games. Not bad for a game that isn’t out yet and lacks a proper Steam description, let alone a full website.
I'm here to help you get your bearings with the full roster. Below we’ve got all 38 of Deadlock’s heroes, including the most recent additions that have been voted onto the island (of Manhattan). That said, the entire roster is still very much subject to changes, so make sure to check back over time while the team at Valve continues to fiddle around with both balance and design.
