Esports tournaments do it better in person

I'm currently at Logitech G Play in Warsaw where a Counter-Strike 2 tournament is being held. As someone who properly got into Counter-Strike when CS:GO launched way back when, I can see things have changed quite a bit. Back then, we struggled with janky spectator cams; now, we have on-stage lighting that starts when the bomb is planted and speeds up in time with it. Things like this, and the boomy theatre bass, have left me incredibly impressed with the IRL tournament experience.
