Phantom Blade Zero's release is almost here, and the reviews are looking pretty positive—I've been playing it the last couple of weeks and it's definitely the best action game of the year, if not the past few years.

The release date for Phantom Blade Zero is October 28 or 29 depending on where you call home, but the exact time will vary. However, it is a simultaneous release around the globe:

  • West Coast US: 7 pm PDT (October 28)
  • East Coast US: 10 pm EDT (October 28)
  • UK: 2 am GMT (October 29)
  • Europe: 3 am CEST (October 29)
  • Australia: 1 pm AEST (October 29)
  • New Zealand: 3 pm NZDT (October 29)

If you're unsure whether you can run it, you can see the updated system requirements on the Steam page. The preload is also currently live, though it requires a pretty hefty storage footprint to install. The game itself is 135GB, though, so you'll probably want a headstart downloading it, unless your internet is more capable than mine.
