Does Steelcase offer free shipping?
Yes, if your order weighs less than 150 pounds and your items are shipping to an address in the contiguous USA, your order will be dispatched for free via FedEx. For orders heavier than 150 pounds, shipping will cost 15% off your total costs, with a $99 minimum shipping fee and a maximum of $299. These orders are usually shipped with FedEx Ground.
Can Steelcase install my order?
If you'd like your furniture assembled and installed by a professional upon arrival, you'll need to pay an additional fee at the checkout. The service is available for 20% of your order total (minimum of $249 and maximum of $399), and even includes removal of your packaging. Steelcase uses third-party installers to deliver this service, which also means delivery times are extended by 5 - 15 days.
What is the Steelcase returns policy?
Should you decide you no longer want your Steelcase order, you can return it to the brand within 30 days of your purchase, so long as you your item is sent back unused and in its original packaging. If your chair has been assembled, no longer fits in its original packaging and cannot be dismantled without damaging it, let the brand know and they can provide replacement packaging for free.
Although Steelcase does offer free return shipping when you organise your returns via the dedicated portal, the brand also charges a 12% restocking fee on all returned items, which rises to 15% for Store Non-Ergonomic chairs and 20% for bulk orders. This amount will be deducted from your refund total.
