It looks like Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire will be a much bigger and more sprawling affair than the original game. And it makes sense, since its Fig campaign has quadrupled its $1m goal. This new video shows off the city of Neketaka, which is the biggest in Deadfire.
As you can expect, you'll be carrying out a bunch of narrative-driving quests in this city, and RPG window shopping will no doubt be one of Neketaka's primary attractions. It's possible that you'll also be recruiting pirates here.
Pillars of Eternity II still doesn't have a firm release date, though it's slated for some time in 2018.
