This week there's another challenge to complete in Forza Horizon 6. This time we've got the Shimanoyama Treasure Hunt to track down, and doing it will grant you some season progress. The British Automotive Festival Series is currently underway and there are a couple of season reward cars to grab, namely the Vauxhall Astra VXR and Bentley Bentayga. Finding and smashing this chest will get you a little closer to earning them.
Forza Horizon 6 Shimanoyama region Treasure Hunt location
You can find this treasure chest in the far south of Shimanoyama, on a winding road that goes through the snowy hills. It's north of the Izu Skyline and southwest of Matsumi Great Bridge, just north of the big freeway that connects Tokyo to the stadium in Shimanoyama.
You can see the location above, but the best way to get there is:
- Head northwest out of Tokyo.
- Continue along the winding trails into the Shimanoyama region.
- Navigate to the point shown above, keeping an eye off to the side of the road where the chest is easily visible.
Simply smash into it as usual and you'll get 100,000 credits, 5,000 XP, and three Season Progress points towards those two season cars. For more progress, make sure to complete the photo challenge at the Bamboo Forest .
