Amazon - the best deals right now
Hit up the best Amazon Prime Day deals right now. If you see something you like, you should absolutely pick it up—many discounts only survive while supplies last.

***Update: Amazon Prime Day is over. Here's what you missed***

Amazon Prime Day deals are ending at midnight tonight, July 16, after which some pretty big discounts on PC components, games, pre-built gaming PCs, and laptops will turn into pumpkins. You need to be a member of Amazon Prime to take part in the deals, but there's a free trial available.

During Prime Day, some streamers on Twitch (which is owned by Amazon) have decided not to stream in solidarity with Amazon workers, who are striking at several warehouses around the world to protest working conditions and harsh fulfillment quotas. Other retailers are running their own, competing sales, and have some great deals which we've listed here.

On Amazon itself, the PC deals have been decent this year, offering some of the lowest prices we've ever seen on hardware we like, including our favorite webcam, and some of our favorite mice and keyboards.

Many of the best gaming laptops have sold out at this point, but there are a lot of deals remaining. There's a Samsung 970 EVO 500GB NVMe SSD going for $90 (40 percent off), as well as a great deal on the Logitech C920 Pro webcam we like so much, which is $40. These are some of the cheapest prices you'll find outside of Black Friday.

We'll be updating this article with the best Prime Day deals until the end of the sale, so check here and there if you're looking for something specific.

Here is a link to the UK version of our Amazon PC deals.

Amazon Prime Day PC deals - How to access them

To take advantage of Prime Day you have to be a Prime member. But if you're not, you can still take advantage of the deals by signing up for a free 30-day trial. You won't need to pay the $100/year fee and you'll still get the deals. On some deals though, the discount you get will pay for the Prime membership itself, so you might want to take a wait-and-see approach.

Prime gives you free delivery on all Amazon goods while you hold the membership, and you get access to Prime Video, which is nice. It isn't Netflix nice, but it's just fine. Black Sails is on there, which is badass.

Amazon Prime Day deals - what about non-PC stuff?

If you're looking to buy non-PC related stuff during the Amazon Prime Day deals in 2019, then you'll be able to save big in a few key areas. 4K TVs always go on sale, and you'll find big savings on the latest panels. Especially if you've been waiting to invest in an expensive OLED or QLED screen, Prime Day will be the best chance to buy this side of Black Friday.

Amazon always sells its own products super cheap too, so anything with Alexa in it will see savings. The Echo Dot, Fire stick, and Kindle Fire tablets will all get big reductions, and the likes of the Echo Show and smart plugs. You'll also see big reductions on consoles and console games, so if you do own a PS4, Switch, or Xbox One then you'll be able to pick up a bargain or two for that.

Then there are cables, subscription services like Xbox Game Pass, Blu-rays and DVDs, books and basically everything you need to keep you entertained for the next few months.
