Lenovo Legion celebrated 10 years of TSM with a smashing good time at TwitchCon 2019

After hosting three days of gaming, contests, and fun events with its fans and Team SoloMid, Lenovo Legion triumphantly exited Twitchcon 2019 in San Diego.

Frustration is an inescapable reality of gaming; few things are more painful than clumsily rolling off a cliff after slaying an impossible boss. To give gamers a safe outlet for all the times they’ve wanted to launch their controllers at the wall, Lenovo erected a savage station where gamers got to take their anger out on a collection of outdated tech & retired gaming devices. Engulfed in colorful dust clouds, gaming keyboards, laptops, speakers and more became fodder to the swings of a baseball bat. The resulting fervor was captured on camera and streamed on Lenovo Legion’s Twitch channel. If you were a lucky participant, don’t be surprised if your friends hide their PCs the next time you visit!

For a less messy yet equally rewarding experience, players participated in the Lenovo Legion treasure hunts. Hunters were split between Team Stylish and Team Savage and were tasked with a single objective: capture the Lenovo flag before the other team. Although it sounded simple, Lenovo Legion didn’t make it easy; players had to outsmart traps and diversions to reach the goal. Completing the circuit earned players cool prizes and select winners were also featured on the Lenovo Legion Twitch stream.

Gamers also got a chance to chill with Ali “Myth” Kabbani, a top-tier professional Fortnite player and team captain for Team SoloMid. Myth joined TSM in 2018 and quickly became an indispensable force. At the Lenovo Legion booth, Myth snapped selfies with fans, emceed one of many daily prize raffles, and imparted gaming tips to aspiring players.

Because Twitchcon wouldn’t be what it is without streaming, Lenovo Legion also powered an on-location streamer station in addition to a MAC Cosmetic booth where streamers could receive a quick makeover to get camera-ready before broadcasting to the World right from the show floor!
