Excited for the Travis Scott Fortnite event? Well, for some of you, it's already happened. Record-breaking numbers of players 'tuned in' for the alt hip hop star's Astronomical in-game gig, and it was quite the show. It was literally massive.

In case you hadn't heard, Grammy-nominated rapper and producer Travis Scott is going on a mini-tour in Fortnite. From April 23-25, Scott is performing five in-game shows for players around the world that will feature the premiere of a brand-new track called Astronomical.

The Travis Scott concert comes just over a year after Marshmello's live show, which reportedly drew more than ten million viewers in-game and millions more who watched online. Scott's concert could pull in even bigger numbers: The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in stay-at-home orders around the world, and that means there are an awful lot of gamers out there with an awful lot of extra free time on their hands.

But the concert is just the beginning. There's a Fortnite Travis Scott skin available in the item shop, plus an emote and other in-game items. And once they're in your back pocket, there are some special challenges to celebrate the event that you can complete now, such as the quest to bounce off different Fortnite Astro Heads. So, here's when you can enjoy the gig, what you need to know about the special challenges, and the cool merch you can buy.

When is the Fortnite Travis Scott event time?

The doors will open, in a metaphorical sense, 30 minutes before each show. Here are the Travis Scott event times:

  • April 23: The Americas - 7PM EDT
  • April 24: EU & ME - 10AM EDT
  • April 25: Asia & Oceania - 12AM EDT
  • April 25: EU & ME - 11AM EDT
  • April 25: The Americas - 6PM EDT

To make sure you don't miss out, here's where to find the Fortnite Travis Scott concert stage. Since this is one of the themed Astronomical challenges, you've probably done this already. But click that link if you've forgotten, or you're a lapsed player in the mood for some fresh alt hip hop.

Fortniters are also able to pick up Scott's outfits, emotes, and other in-game items. The official Fortnite Travis Scott skin costs 1,500 V-Bucks, but there are other cosmetics available from 300 to 2,000 V-Bucks depending on what you want. And for those of you who want to save their premium currency, anyone who attends the Astronomical event will be given the Astroworld Cyclone Glider and two loading screens for free.

Scott isn't just here to play some music, though: He's also joining the game in a more permanent sense as part of the Fortnite Icon Series, a collection of in-game cosmetics inspired by artists and content creators including Ninja, Jordan Fisher, Pokimane, and Elly.
