Uhhh I'm afraid not, the disc was part of the product I purchased so with it being faulty I'm entitled to a refund or replacement. Doesn't matter what you call it, I paid money for the complete package and it's up to the magazines publisher to sort out any problems.

And linking to a download page isn't a solution, especially not considering it's 3.67GB which makes it impossible to download on slow connections. Ever consider some people just buy magazine for the demo disc so they don't have to download large amounts of data?

To answer the OP you can either take the magazine back to the retailer you bought it from and request a refund stating the item is defective, although no guarantees, or go here http://www.futureus.com/customer-service/disc-replacement/ and make sure to state the exact issue and hopefully they'll have some new working copies, but then again you may just get the same broken files on another disc.

Imo, as long as they supply you a disc, it's part of what you pay for. Not that mine doesn't go straight in the bin.

Thank you to all for giving this information. I would have thought what iamgoatman & Alm said would have been correct but either way I will miss out on Shogun . On the other hand if it is a bonus nevermind lost out on this one. thanks all

Wait you guys buy a magazine (may I add a very very well written magazine) for the crap disk that comes with it.

Thank god they've stopped making the disk.

Also are you sure you're PC can handle the game because if it cant then that is your own fault and you can't claim back.
