Default New Issue and another damn Ecodisk

What the hell is going on with these Ecodisks? Can't these people see by the number of posts on this forum that a lot of us can not play these? I enjoy the magazine but I bought the subscription to get the disk and now in their foolish attempt to save the world by making the disks thinner, I can't use the disk. This sucks.

Didn;t hink anyone used the discs these days. I sure haven't used one in the last couple of years what with the internet and all.

I'd use the disk more if it didn't make the most horrifying grinding noise in my CD drive when I try and run it.

I dont have a problem with the CD's other than they make the magazine cost $9 on the newstand and theres never anything I want on there or anything that I havent seen elsewhere.

I wish there was a subscription model without discs. I never use them and they just end up in the trash. I'd even pay the same amount for the subscription because it's not about the cost but about the waste. Maybe a subscribers area on the PCGamer site where we could download this stuff if we're interested?

but if they made it public people would download without paying. i know it sounds stupid because the content is free anyways, but the cd is pcgamer's handpicked collection of trinkets they put together each month, so that might be why they dont do it.
