    Default raid report 29/11/12

    On raid:
goff, bull, barks, pskye, wyrmy, ayumis, jecaa, bimbley, ross, glugster, leegund

stone guard: 1 shot, about a minute faster than our previous best time, 1 casualty (me)

feng: 1 shot, about 40 seconds faster than our previous best time, 1 casualty (barks)

garajal: 1 shot, about 30 seconds faster than our previous best time, 1 casualty (psyke)

spirit kings: 1 shot, about a minute faster than our previous best time, 1 casualty (just the boss)

this took just over an hour, so we had a quick break before coming back to try elegon.

    Elegon:
phase 1 - consistently getting to 85% with just 2 adds - nice and smooth
phase 2 - going for 5 energy charge waves. most of the time we're getting there (although ross sometimes gives me heart failure by attacking the wrong one)
phase 3 - the only phase where we were a bit sloppy - I'd really like us to get the pylons down at the same time - might have to tweak this for next raid.
transistion phase - think we were pretty good at this - i dont remember many people dying to the adds. Need to make sure we dont lose goffik due to range issues.

We had 1 great attempt where we got a full Bloodlust/burn phase in at the end - he hit enrage when we were about 15 seconds from killing him - our attempts after that were quicker on phase1, but slower on phase3 - if we can get our phase3 very slightyl better we should kill him on monday.

Please make sure everyone is fully prepped for monday - DPS/mana potions, any tweaks to your glyphs/specs you need to do. Also read up on Will of the Emperor!

    Loots:
    mainspec: psyke, ross, jecaax2
    offspec: gluggie, goffik, psyke, leegund.

You're not trying to reset your stacks in the final phase, are you?

It was sooo close to a kill. To be honest I completely lost it when I saw the berserk was in 20 seconds and I started mashing buttons furiously which just broke my rotation.

The last couple of tries I played terribly, I think the high concentration over the previous hour just wore me out.

We will kill it on Monday also with our pro team I expect to kill Will of the Emperor as well.

On the final phase we were still a bit messy, someone ran up to the dragon rather than move with the group, so for me that means one spot where we have tank, one spot where we have the better part of the raid, and one spot with some misc dps. While learning how to do this, that's impossible for me. Have to move as a group in that last bit. Spreading out healing makes me completely useless in this fight, mana is tight as it is already.

No aggro problems with the adds either whilst im using my sneaky pally tricks!

For me personally the only point in this fight thats a problem now is the final phase. My aoe healing is lackluster at best and I need to stand still and repeat cast for it to even be that so the point at which we run into the middle has got to be fuxking smooth unless you all want to die horrible deaths. We need to get those adds down FAST and get to the middle. Once we're there and I can pop a cooldown its fine and we should be fine to keep you up but thats the only bit now!! I just hope someone gets ill so I can come! ; P

Also, bedn watching loads of guides of Will of the Emperor, our tanks are awesome and our melee... well our tanks are awesome xD Dont think we should have as many problems at all on this fight. If anyone hasnt done it for any crazy reason or hasnt done it for a while go do the LFR vault of mysteries as its almost identical. Especially melee just go and do it over and over again so you can learn how to avoid the horrible aoe attack the boss does. If you can master that then all it is is addswitching for the rest of us which im sure we should be able to handle

    Roll on monday!!

I've got some pretty good aoe healing tricks I can use. If I can just have them off cooldown and have enough mana by the time the last phase starts I'm sure I can handle a pretty good percentage of that.

I need to learn to hold my nerve and not use a cd during the 2nd phase transition so i've got it up for the burn phase lol
Using the banners during the little adds phase certainly helped i thought as I can taunt them as i'm running then drop the demo one to mitigate a bit of damage while i run off to the boss

Goff next time you're on we need to have a chat about what cooldowns we both have. If we know more about each others skills we'll be able to cycle them between us so we dont waste them and hopefully in the long run be way more efficient and kick way more ass!!

It sounds like you might be trying to kill the adds before piling into the centre...

If you all charge in as soon as the floor reappears and just stack up behind the boss and AoE the adds, the healers can use healing CDs, and everyone will be benefitting from the 50% healing increase, as well as the damage buff.
