    12 Year Old Gamer... Scientist?
I just read a recently released article about a 12 year old gamer who helped his scientist dad with his research, and getting his first published work in the field! All while using the old school Dungeons and Dragons. The research was on humans and their eyes. The problem for his dad, a psychologist at the University of British Columbia was that their eyes were in the middle of their faces. His son, Julian, helped him get around that problem by using concepts of monsters from Dungeons and Dragons, with them having their eyes all over the place like their hands, tentacles, etc.
It’s a pretty interesting read and definitely shows that gaming, whether video games or traditional games like Dungeons and Dragons, is more than just playing around! It can keep your mind open new and crazy ideas that could apply to just about anything in your life.

    That is quite cool
“There has seldom if ever been a shortage of eager young males prepared to kill and die to preserve the security, comfort and prejudices of their elders, and what you call heroism is just an expression of this simple fact; there is never a scarcity of idiots.” - Ian Banks
