Default Village Map 12/08/10

Hello all. I've spent the best part of today compiling a map of the village. It covers everything from the 2nd Forestry commission to the PCG fort to the steelworks. Use it as you see fit, I personally wanted a reference point when presenting ideas for discussion and a map would be needed. Anyone familiar with the village should be able to quickly identify what is where and understand it.

To access the map, head over to http://jenn001.game.wurmonline.com/mapper/
Click on Start
Under the 'Main' tab on the left-hand side, select 'open'
You will be prompted for a map code. Copy and paste the code from the attached text file into this field.
Enjoy.
Attached Files
File Type: txt Village Map 12-8-10.txt (9.9 KB, 11 views)

Thanks M. I've added the text file to my first post. That's defiantly a good work around.

I couldn't open that properly with notepad for some reason, it kept coming back with some odd characters. So if anyone can't open that with notepad, I recommend opening it using your browser (open with > Firefox).

Tis a good map btw, it'll be useful for future planning.

It does clearly present one of my concerns - the village is too spread out for the number of people we have. A lot of those pavement tiles can be destroyed, Bohdan and Polo (Polo, i've not seen online in ages) are too far away and even my house is a little too far from the centre than it needs to be (to be fair, I only took it as it was lightly damaged and I needed a place to store my stuff quickly).

Sorry Prosp, my sub is out on premium and I'd rather not have to reactivate my account just to disband a deed.

Apologies.

Mibeshu: You read my mind. I'm going to have a play around later and try to trim areas up a bit. Anything behind the Lumberyard/red Dove farm can really be abandoned. I also have a couple of ideas for other areas as well.

No Probs.. Can you send me a PM if you know roughly how many days your deed had left? (I'm assuming you're not coming back to freedom etc..) At least that way they will have a rough idea when the deed/token dissappears.
