    Default Wind Lord Mel'jarak Macro

    Hey Winners,

For those that don't use them much, here's a macro to make cc'ing the adds easier:

    #showtooltip
    /clearfocus [modifier:alt][target=focus,dead][target=focus,help][target=focus,noexists]
    /focus [target=focus,noexists]
    /target focus
    /click ExtraActionButton1
    /targetlasttarget

Basically it sets your target to focus if its not already your focus and clicks the action button.

Then you just have to press it to re CC without losing your current target.

If your target is dead (or you press Alt at the same time) it'll clear the focus and use your current target (Setting it as your new focus)

Just bind it to a convenient key and press it when there is about 10secs left to avoid any issues if you get trapped in an Amber Prison.

Hopefully someone will get some use out of it.

    Cheers Ay.

EDIT: Changed macro as you can't use /click on a focus target.

Also can everyone who isn't a healer make sure they get a macro to interrupt their focus target.
It also helps to make sure your UI shows you when your focus target is casting a spell.
For reference, this is a mage interrupt macro:

    #showtooltip Counterspell
    /stopcasting
    /cast [target=focus, exists] Counterspell; Counterspell

Just a note - the macro in my above post will interrupt your focus target. If you don't have a focus it will counterspell your normal target instead!

You mean that I can bind a macro to a key? So I can press "J" or whatever and have it execute a chosen macro? How is this done?

Drag the macro to a button, then assign a hotkey to the button. Easy if you use bartender for instance, just enter the configuration and pick a key

You can learn more about Macros here, it's a nice sticky on the forums:

    [URL="http://eu.battle.net/wow/en/forum/topic/3225373977"]Advanced macro guide for everyone[/URL]

You can do some really funky things with Macros but I tend to keep them simple like Targeting, Joining spells and trinkets, the invaluable "Ice Block Macro" and the amusing "Time Warp Macro".
