Question My rig with Watch Dogs

Hi all, I have been googling all day and read nothing but mixed reviews or comments on the official Watch Dogs sys recommended requirements. I am sure you have noticed they say a certain version of the i7 chip.

I really like to run everything on ultra settings.

I have 8GB of ram, that would be dedicated towards the game while playing
    An i5 4760k cpu
    and a GTX 780 GPU

I sorta built this thing in hopes of basically crushing games for years to come, has the gaming world ALREADY caught up to me?

I was considering buying this for PS4 anyways, simply to have games for my PS4 lol, but yeah, anyone wanna give me their thoughts please do.

Your P.C., without a doubt, will run watchdogs a lot better then any of the consoles will.
Your I5 will be just fine.

    Careful you don't go blind

I'd expect your PC to handle it fine with those specifications. Obviously if Watch Dogs does take advantage of hyper threading like BF4 , then depending on how well a HT advantage works with Watch Dogs, compared to what you have it could be anything up to 10 FPS slower with an i5 than someone with an identical build & an i7 in theory.

The main concern is likely with it being a multi platform game, and having it working smoothly or issue free would be more of a consideration. Personally i wouldn't buy it on day one, and just see how others get on with it on PC & console, then decide.

Your PC should be pretty damn good for Watch Dogs. I can't imagine it "crushing games for years to come" though. Most games are built around the consoles these days and the new gen just started. The games are going to start getting more advanced in a few years.
