Cho'Gall was a nice smooth one-shot, despite Slash pulling aggro and dying within 10 seconds of the pull. Taking 4 ranged DPS (including a couple of good slowers) and 2 healers is DEFINITELY the way to do that fight on 10-man.
About an hour of steady Nefarian progress saw us finally take him down and become Defenders of a Shattered World. Big gz to everyone.
It's best to have Darksen kiting the adds in phase 1, with a couple of them shackled on the North side. As long as they die in the northern quarter, Klog didn't seem to have too much trouble with collecting them or avoiding fire in phase 3. We have the DPS to force 3 Crackles in phase 1; the last one has to coincide with Onyxia's death, meaning some frantic healing before the room fills with lava. This allows us the luxury of only one Phase 2 Crackle, which is nice for the healers. One healer, one ranged and one melee (2 tanks count as one melee) per platform is a nice combo, as it means you can get the adds down together.
Phase 3 is pretty straightforward; stay well away from fire and keep everyone alive through 5 crackles. Klog has the hard job; trying to keep the attention of all the adds and keep them out of the fire so that they die and reset their damage buff. Healing him was certainly difficult, but we managed it pretty comfortably in the end.
Big gz to Klog on his Tier 11 shoulders (and therefore 4pc), gz to Slash on a shiny ring and T11 head, gz to Uru on a shiny new shield and gz to the other person who won loot, I've forgotten about you.
Wednesday is a full BoT and TotFW clear, all normal modes. Sunday is BWD including Heroic Chimaeron. Monday is Nefarian if he's still alive.
The Priest/Paladin/Warlock and Rogue/DK/Mage/Druid Tier 11 tokens are now fair game, as those tanks have the shoulders. Warr/Hunter/Shammy shoulders will still go to Uru first.
