Vermintide Empire Soldier

After the Witch Hunter (opens in new tab) and the Waywatcher (opens in new tab) comes the class I will probably play as, if I ever embark upon Fatshark's Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide (opens in new tab). It's the Empire Soldier, and I will be required to play as him because a) he has some lovely mutton chops, and b) he wields a blunderbuss. Markus Kruber is detailed here (opens in new tab), with an unnecessarily long backstory, a few images, and details of his weapon set (he wields big, heavy things like greatswords, warhammers, and blunderbi).

Also, here's a video from PCGamesN.

See the way he turns Skaven into mush with his giant hammer? That's why you'll be playing as the Empire Soldier too.

Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide is out October 23 (opens in new tab).

Tom loves exploring in games, whether it’s going the wrong way in a platformer or burgling an apartment in Deus Ex. His favourite game worlds—Stalker, Dark Souls, Thief—have an atmosphere you could wallop with a blackjack. He enjoys horror, adventure, puzzle games and RPGs, and played the Japanese version of Final Fantasy VIII with a translated script he printed off from the internet.
