During its Night City Wire livestream today, CD Projekt Red walked us through the basics of braindancing in Cyberpunk 2077. It's a way to experience and explore records of other people's memories, and we watched as protagonist V lived through the last minutes of the life of an unfortunate robber, and then returned to the memory with a free camera, where he was able to investigate peripheral sensory information.
You can read and see more about braindancing in Andy's gameplay video and preview, and watch the tutorial in the livestream video above, starting at around 1:12:00. During the event, CD Projekt Red also debuted a new trailer for Cyberpunk 2077, which you can watch below.
After another delay, Cyberpunk 2077 itself will release on November 19, which places in an awkward slot alongside the next gen console releases. We also learned today that it's getting a spin-off anime, but not until 2022.
You can get some free Cyberpunk goodies on GOG right now, if you love a good post-human wallpaper for your desktop.

Tyler grew up in Silicon Valley during the '80s and '90s, playing games like Zork and Arkanoid on early PCs. He was later captivated by Myst, SimCity, Civilization, Command & Conquer, all the shooters they call "boomer shooters" now, and PS1 classic Bushido Blade (that's right: he had Bleem!). Tyler joined PC Gamer in 2011, and today he's focused on the site's news coverage. His hobbies include amateur boxing and adding to his 1,200-plus hours in Rocket League.
